Wilson Island Resort is a tiny coral cay located just 40 minutes from Voyages Heron Island. A divine sweep of castor sugar sands that is home to turtles and birds, Wilson is both part of the Great Barrier Reef and surrounded by it. Its pristine waters host an unimaginable variety of marine life including colourful coral and fish, with some of the best snorkelling just off the beach. Offering designer-inspired tented accommodation, Wilson provides just 12 guests with access to the magnificent reef and beach environments, including rare turtle and bird breeding grounds. A true communion with nature is at the core of the Wilson Island experience- to live and enjoy life as a beachcomber. Days can be filled snorkelling and exploring the island, in-season watching turtles and birds nesting and the birth of hatchlings, or simply lazing in a hammock. Wilson Island Resort is the Great Barrier Reef as nature intended.

Wilson Island is a 40 minute boat ride from Heron Island. Transfer times between Heron and Wilson Islands at the commencement and completion of your Wilson Island Experience are subject to tide and weather conditions, and may vary accordingly.
Launch or helicopter from Gladstone to Heron Island, then transfer by launch from Heron Island to Wilson Island.
Note - As there is no jetty/pier at Wilson Island, a boat to boat transfer is necessary to transfer clients to shore.

Cancellation Policy:

- A fee of 50% of the total stay will be charged for bookings cancelled 30-15 days prior to travel.
- No refund if cancelled 14 days or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.
Wedding Package (does not include accommodation):
- Loss of AUD500.00 deposit if cancelled 91 days prior to travel.
- A fee of 75% of the package cost will be charged for bookings cancelled 90-31 days prior to travel.
